On November 26, Ukrzaliznytsia officially opened ticket sales for new railway services that will start operating in 2025. This event is part of a large-scale update of the route network aimed at improving connections between cities in Ukraine and with European countries.
From November 27, passengers have the opportunity to book seats on trains that will start operating on December 16 of this year. One of the most anticipated is the new route No. 83/84 Kyiv - Solotvino, ticket sales for which will be available from December 15. This route is designed to increase the tourist attractiveness of the Carpathian region and provide convenient transport connections.
Among other important innovations are trains that will connect major cities of Ukraine with popular tourist destinations:
- No. 145/146 Kharkiv - Chernivtsi,
- No. 33/34 Kryvyi Rih - Yasinya,
- No. 125/126 and No. 129/130 Kremenchuk, Poltava - Uzhgorod,
- No. 61/62 Dnipro - Rakhiv.
These routes will significantly reduce travel time and ensure comfort for passengers. However, tickets for these flights will need to be printed, as noted in the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
In addition to domestic routes, Ukrzaliznytsia also continues its integration into the European railway network. Ticket sales for flights Kyiv - Budapest (No. 9/10) and the new connection Warsaw - Rava-Ruska - Lviv - Chernivtsi will be available a little later. These directions are aimed at expanding the possibilities of international passenger traffic.
Passengers can buy tickets in a way convenient for them: through the mobile application of “Ukrzaliznytsia”, on the official website of the company, as well as at the ticket offices of the stations. This improvement of digital services contributes to increasing the convenience and accessibility of services for Ukrainians.
The expansion of the route network of “Ukrzaliznytsia” is an important step in the development of the country's transport infrastructure. It contributes not only to domestic traffic, but also to the integration of Ukraine into the European transport space, which is especially relevant in the context of European integration.
