The restoration of the cannery of the Chervenkov LLC TM Demyanovich, which suffered serious losses during the war, is actively underway in the Kherson region. The plant, which previously produced up to 600 tons of products per month, has begun to restore its activities and is preparing to launch a new line for canning vegetables, as reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
During the occupation, the plant suffered significant material losses, estimated at over 35 million hryvnias. Despite this, the company's management has taken up the restoration of production processes and has already begun installing new equipment for the production of canned food.
The plant specializes in the production of juices, green peas, tomato paste, beans, canned cucumbers and tomatoes, as well as various salads, all of which are known for their quality and the absence of artificial preservatives, dyes, flavorings and GMOs.
"Such initiatives to resume production are a source of inspiration. They demonstrate that Ukrainian enterprises are not only enduring difficult times, but also actively benefiting the country's economy," emphasized Minister of Agricultural Policy Vitaliy Koval, who personally visited the plant during a working trip to southern Ukraine.
He also noted that it is important for Ukraine not only to maintain its own production, but also to develop it, creating new jobs and increasing exports of finished products. This will contribute to the transformation of the country from an agricultural leader into an agro-industrial state with high added value.
