From March 1, 2025, the rental rate for grain trucks belonging to the Transport Logistics Center branch of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC was increased in Ukraine. According to the new conditions, the rental of grain trucks has increased to UAH 303 per day (excluding VAT), which is UAH 100 more compared to February indicators, where the rate was UAH 203 per day.

Changes in tariffs for car rental are due to the need to adjust the price in accordance with market conditions and the economic situation. However, despite the increase in the price of grain truck rental, significant discounts were introduced for the rental of tanks for the transportation of food products.

In particular, the rental of tanks for the transportation of food products has become cheaper by almost 70%. If earlier the rental cost was 500 UAH per day, then since March it has decreased to 338 UAH per day, which creates opportunities for more profitable transportation of such cargo.

As for the rental of wagons for the transportation of flour of the conventional type 972, the price for them will remain at the same level as in February, and will be 1850 UAH per day. This means that no changes in tariffs for the transportation of flour are planned yet, and they remain stable.

Also, the rental rate for gondola wagons will remain at the level of February prices, which in March 2025 will be 1100 UAH per day. This confirms that Ukrzaliznytsia has a desire to ensure stability in this transportation sector, at least at the level of such wagons.

In general, changes in tariffs for the rental of railway transport serving the agricultural sector are important for the efficiency of logistics in Ukraine. Agricultural transport services have a significant impact on the country's economy, so tariff adjustments are an important factor affecting the cost of transportation and the final price of goods on the market.
