Ukrzaliznytsia has registered a railroad operator called Ukrainian Railways Cargo Poland, which will be engaged in the transportation of goods between Ukraine and European countries. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure.

One of the main tasks of Ukrainian Railways Cargo Poland at the first stage of work will be to provide comprehensive cargo transportation services, coordinate with European operators and cargo owners, and control rolling stock at the borders.

The creation of a European freight operator will improve the management of freight transportation in the European direction and will contribute to the development of fast logistics and support the Ukrainian economy. At the same time, the border infrastructure will be modernized to increase its capacity.

The long-term strategy for the international division of Ukrainian Railways Cargo Poland is in the final stages of development and will be approved by the Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia in the near future.

Ukrzaliznytsia plans to integrate Ukraine's rail freight transportation system into the European space and start building a full-fledged freight transportation operator in the European Union. The main principles of the international division will be close ties with foreign partners, transparency and competition to ensure a worthy representation of Ukrzaliznytsia in the international arena.

The establishment of Ukrainian Railways Cargo Poland opens up new prospects for the development of international rail transportation in Ukraine and will help improve the efficiency of transport links between European countries.
