In September 2024, 1,068 units of equipment were registered on the Ukrainian market of new commercial vehicles, which include trucks and specialized vehicles. This information was provided by Ukrainian Autoprom ("Ukravtoprom").

Despite the fact that the number of new registrations decreased by 1% compared to August, in annual terms there is an increase. Thus, in September 2023, new truck registrations were 6% lower, which indicates positive trends in the market.

The following brands stand out among the sales leaders in the commercial vehicle market: Renault with 280 registered vehicles, Ford with 135, Citroen – 101, Man – 79, and Scania with 66 new units of equipment. These data indicate the stable position of these brands in the segment of new trucks.

Since the beginning of 2024, the truck fleet in Ukraine has grown by more than 9,300 units, which is 15% higher than the figures for the same period last year. This indicates the growing demand for new equipment and active renewal of the car fleet.

Factors contributing to this growth include a recovery in economic activity, as well as the need to renew an aging truck fleet that requires modernization and increased efficiency.

Thus, the market of new trucks in Ukraine continues to show positive trends, which is an important indicator for the further development of commercial transport in the country.
