The sale of 136 tons of mineral fertilizers produced in the Russian Federation has been completed in Ukraine as part of operations organized by the Assets Tracing and Management Agency (ARMA). The total proceeds from the sale amounted to UAH 1.8 million.
According to the ARMA press service, 272 big bags of azofoska (nitroammophoska) with a total weight of 136,380 kg were sold at the auction. Azofoska is a highly effective universal mineral fertilizer that contains nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in large quantities. It is used to increase the yield of agricultural crops and strengthen their resistance to diseases and low temperatures.
The sale took place via the Prozorro.Sale electronic trading system. The auction was organized by the private enterprise "Tender Online", which was selected as the winner of an open competition held by ARMA to select a specialized entity to sell this asset.
Thanks to the effective management of this process, the agency managed to ensure proper payment of customs duties for the sold fertilizers. The sale of Russian goods through Prozorro.Sale is part of the state's strategy for asset management and ensuring financial transparency in the use of public resources.
This sale is also important in the context of economic sanctions and measures to block supplies from Russia, in particular in agriculture. It demonstrates the readiness of the Ukrainian authorities to effectively manage and sell assets remaining after the termination of cooperation with the aggressor.
It should be noted that such auctions through Prozorro.Sale allow for the most transparent conduct of all stages of the sale, from the auction to financial settlements, which meets the principles of public administration and ensuring openness.
