Ukrainians continue to increase the amount of declared income over the past year, which indicates positive trends in the country's economy. According to the Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko, the total amount of declared income is already 88.2 billion hryvnias. This is 32.7 billion hryvnias more than in the same period last year.
In the first months of this year, the number of declarations on property status and income exceeded the indicators of the previous period by 101%, reaching over 104 thousand documents.
The results of the declarations are also associated with a significant increase in income before taxes: the amount for individual income was increased to 1.3 billion hryvnias, which is 40% higher than last year's figure, and for military duty, which amounted to 235.2 million hryvnias and increased by 47%.
Ruslan Kravchenko also reported that 7 thousand taxpayers declared income totaling 50.5 billion hryvnias, among which 53 individuals declared income of over 100 million hryvnias, totaling 16 billion hryvnias.
The leaders in the number of millionaires were Kyiv (2,230 people), Kyiv region (745 people), Lviv region (651 people) and Dnipropetrovsk region (615 people), which emphasizes their economic activity and the potential of the national market.
These data indicate a gradual improvement in financial awareness and the development of the Ukrainian economy, which is an important step towards the stability and prosperity of the country.
