The construction of a new elevator in Cherkasy region, which is capable of storing an impressive 20 thousand tons at a time, will soon be completed. This is reported by ProAgro Group, citing an official Facebook post by ActiveProject.
The new facility is equipped with transportation equipment with a capacity of 100 tons per hour and a modern grain dryer with a capacity of 50 tons per hour, capable of reducing moisture from 20% to 14%. The project was implemented with the help of BIM design technologies, which allowed us to optimize solutions and reduce investment costs.
The implementation of a pile-free foundation with soil replacement during the construction phase reduced project costs. This solution also helped to reduce the depth of the elevator pit. The team of engineers and designers successfully coped with the high technical requirements of the project.
"ActiveProject used BIM design technologies to ensure efficient project implementation and minimize costs. This high-tech company provided innovative and efficient solutions at every stage of the elevator construction.
According to the engineering calculations, the pile-free foundation and soil replacement significantly saved money and contributed to the faster completion of the construction.
This new elevator becomes an important milestone for the development of the agricultural sector in Cherkasy region, ensuring high productivity and the use of advanced technologies in grain storage and handling.
