McDonald's fast food chains in Ukraine achieved impressive success in 2023, according to the YouControl analytical system published in Forbes. Revenue of the company with foreign investments, McDonald's Ukraine Ltd, increased to UAH 12.9 billion in the reporting period, which is 296.8% more than in the previous year, when it amounted to UAH 3.2 billion.

Behind these impressive figures lies a lot of hard work and strategic management. McDonald's profit in Ukraine reached UAH 1.2 billion, which is a significant improvement compared to the previous year, when the company suffered a loss of UAH 2 billion.

It is important that McDonald's has returned to Ukraine after temporarily suspending its operations due to the difficult political situation. The closure of all the chain's locations in the country in February 2022 was a necessary measure for security reasons during the conflict.

However, after a period of analysis and preparation, the resumption of operations began in the fall of 2022. This was a strategic move, which was reflected in the strong performance in 2023.

In addition, the network continues to develop, expanding into new markets. In November 2023, the first McDonald's restaurants were opened in Kirovohrad region - in Oleksandria and Kropyvnytskyi, as well as the first restaurant in the Carpathians. These steps demonstrate the company's belief in the potential of the Ukrainian market and the importance of making its products accessible to residents of different regions.

Last December, another opening took place - a new McDonald's restaurant on the 20th kilometer after leaving Kyiv, in the village of Stoyanka, Bucha district. This restaurant became the 100th in Ukraine, emphasizing the company's sustainability and long-term presence in the market.

Thanks to strategic planning and investments, McDonald's has managed to regain its position in the Ukrainian market and achieve significant revenue and profit growth. This demonstrates the company's confidence in Ukraine's future and the importance of its presence in the country's life.
