The Ukrainian government decided to cancel Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 153, which regulated the terms of payments for imported goods and services. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the government meeting held on May 7.
"In our economic policy, we have two main tasks. First, it is the implementation of programs to support business and stimulate economic activity. Second, we must create such a business climate where entrepreneurs can realize all their opportunities and ambitions," he noted. .
According to the Prime Minister, the cancellation of this resolution is an important step in the direction of easing the conditions for business activities in the country.
"We cancel Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 153, which limited payments for imported goods and services. This step in market liberalization will open new prospects for Ukrainian entrepreneurs, allowing them to enter new markets, strengthen the position of Ukrainian exports, launch new projects and create new jobs in Ukraine," Shmyhal emphasized.
It is worth noting that the National Bank of Ukraine put forward a proposal to cancel the above-mentioned Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of February 24, 2022 No. 153 "On certain issues related to ensuring the implementation of imports".
