Ukraine has become one of the main suppliers of frozen raspberries to the US market, entering the top five exporters of this product over the past 12 months. This is evidenced by the data of the analytical project EastFruit. During this period, Ukraine sent 265 tons of frozen raspberries to the American market.

At the end of last year, there was a significant breakthrough in the Ukrainian export of raspberries - from individual trial deliveries to systematic export in batches of 2-3 sea containers per month. This became possible thanks to the active development of the industry and the increase in production volumes.

Economist Andriy Yarmak notes that Ukraine previously did not export frozen raspberries, but in recent years the country has begun to actively occupy positions on the world market of this product. According to him, Ukraine has every chance to become one of the leaders in this business.

Despite internal difficulties, in particular Russian aggression, the Ukrainian raspberry industry continues to develop. In 2024, Ukraine remains one of the countries in Europe where the area under raspberries has even increased.

This trend creates positive prospects for the Ukrainian berry business. Diversification of exports in order to reduce dependence on supplies to Poland is becoming one of the priorities for Ukraine. Therefore, the growth of exports of frozen raspberries to the USA is of great importance for the development of this industry.
