In the first half of 2024, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPFMU) achieved significant results in privatization, selling 213 lots. The total number of auction participants exceeded 1.2 thousand, which averaged 5.5 offers per lot.
Vitaliy Koval, the head of the FDMU, announced these achievements, stressing that the activity of the participants contributed to a significant increase in lot prices. On average, the price of lots increased by 2.5 times from the starting price. Rivne region became the undisputed leader among the regions.
According to the Fund, 25 objects were privatized in the Rivne region, which is almost 12% of the total number of sold lots. This region attracted the largest number of auction participants - 165 people. Revenues from the sale of state assets in Rivne Oblast reached 167 million hryvnias, which secured the region third place among all oblasts in terms of this indicator.
In second place in terms of the number of privatized objects was the Sumy region, where 20 lots were sold. The Volyn region took third place with 17 sold objects. The smallest number of privatized assets was recorded in Chernivtsi region - only 3 objects.
Some regions of Ukraine were unable to implement any state assets due to the difficult situation. In particular, no privatization was carried out in Donetsk region, Luhansk region and Kherson region for obvious reasons. However, it was possible to sell 9 lots in the partially occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
Active privatization in the first half of 2024 shows the high interest of investors in state assets and their willingness to invest in the development of regions. This is a positive signal for the Ukrainian economy and demonstrates the potential for further growth in this area.
The results of privatization show that even in difficult conditions there are opportunities to attract investments and develop the economy. Plans for the second half of the year include the continuation of privatization processes and the involvement of an even greater number of participants, which will contribute to the stable growth of Ukraine's economy.
