In accordance with the task of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, after the completion of nuclear fuel transshipment and planned equipment repair, "Energoatom" successfully and ahead of schedule connected another power unit to the power grid.

This was reported by the press service of "Energoatom", emphasizing the significant contribution of the restored power unit with a capacity of 1,000 MW to the strengthening of the domestic power grid. This is an important step in ensuring a stable energy supply in the conditions of a difficult energy situation.

Energoatom company specialists worked extremely quickly and responsibly to ensure planned and preventive repairs in compliance with all necessary quality standards. "Given the difficult situation in the energy sector, the company's specialists are making maximum efforts to promptly carry out planned and preventive repairs, provided that the necessary quality of work is ensured," the company's message says.

The press service also noted that all other power units of "Energoatom", located in the territory under the control of Ukraine, work in the planned mode, which additionally ensures the stability of the power system.

We will remind you that on the night of July 16, an emergency shutdown of equipment occurred at one of the energy facilities, which caused a significant shortage of electricity in the system. This led to the introduction of four rounds of blackout schedules that were in effect throughout the day across the country.

It is also worth noting that in the western region of Ukraine, due to a fire caused by the heat, a high-voltage overhead line was shut down. This led to the blackout of the high-voltage substation and the overhead line that connects the energy systems of Ukraine and Moldova.

The return of the power unit to work demonstrates the high professionalism of Energoatom employees and their ability to quickly respond to challenges, ensuring the reliability of energy supply in Ukraine.
