In the ports of Greater Odessa, there is a significant increase in grain unloading, which reached an average daily rate of 1,025 wagons. This information was reported by Valery Tkachev, deputy director of the department of transportation technology and commercial work of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia". The unloading rate for the week increased by 41 wagons, which indicates the intensification of the ports.
The increase in the volume of grain cargoes is also noted in the context of an increase in the number of wagons heading to the ports. According to the data received last week, their number was 4,629 units, and currently it has reached 5,402 wagons. This means that the number of wagons increased by 773 units in a week, which is a positive signal for the agricultural sector.
The average daily load of wagons on the railway network in the direction of the ports of Greater Odessa also shows positive dynamics. Currently, the indicator reaches 1100 units, which is 40 cars more than last week. This growth emphasizes the activity of transportation and the importance of port infrastructure for the agro-industrial complex.
However, in the port of Izmail, there is a slight decrease in the accumulation of wagons with grain. Now their number is 596 units, which is 90 cars less than a week ago. The average daily unloading of grain at this port also increased and now reaches 79 cars per day, which is 7 cars more than the previous week.
The increase in the unloading and loading of grain cargoes in the ports of Greater Odesa, as well as in the port of Izmail, indicates positive trends in the agricultural sector of Ukraine. These data indicate the activation of transport and port infrastructure, which is an important factor for the development of the country's economy.
Thus, the ports of Greater Odessa play a key role in ensuring the transportation of agricultural products, which will certainly affect the growth of the economic indicators of the region and the country as a whole.
