Ukraine has begun testing a new Interbus digital module, which will be an important step in reforming the international bus transportation system. The initiator of this process was the Ministry of Community and Territories Development of Ukraine.
As stated on the official website of the agency, the module is based on the provisions of the Interbus Agreement, which regulates irregular international passenger transportation by bus. Thanks to this system, carriers will be able to carry out such transportation without the need to obtain separate permits for each of the countries that signed the agreement.
The main advantage of the new module is the centralization of accounting and issuance of special Journals for irregular transportation. All permits will now be issued through a single organization, and the data will be stored in a digital database. This simplifies the process of obtaining documents, increases transparency and reduces the time required for processing.
The key innovations will be the ability to order documents online and fill them out digitally. In addition, the system integrates with the eQueue platform for border crossing, which will provide automatic verification of permits. This solution will significantly reduce the burden on carriers and optimize their work.
It is expected that the online ordering function for Interbus Magazines will become available in February. And from March, these documents will be officially implemented for organizing international transportation.
The launch of the Interbus digital module is another step towards the modernization of the transport system of Ukraine, which will contribute to reducing bureaucratic procedures, increasing the efficiency of the industry and facilitating working conditions for Ukrainian carriers in the international market.
