In the first wave of 2025, 113 young Ukrainian entrepreneurs received a positive decision on receiving grants under the "Own Business" program. This is an initiative aimed at supporting young people who intend to create their own businesses in various sectors of the economy.
According to Tetyana Berezhna, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, the total amount of grants is 16.5 million UAH. Each winner will receive up to 3.5 million UAH to start their own business. These investments will allow young entrepreneurs to realize their ideas and contribute to the development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
According to Tetyana Berezhna, the "Own Business" program provides young people with a unique opportunity not only to create their own business, but also to realize their entrepreneurial potential in various sectors of the economy.
Among the initiatives that the winners of the first wave of the grant program plan to implement are the creation of a creative agency, SMM studio, martial arts school, cosmetology studio, coffee shop, service station, photo studio, production of tactical accessories, sale of clothing, as well as growing berries and nuts, provision of customs brokerage and logistics services.
According to the organizers, the largest number of grant recipients among young people falls on Kyiv and Kyiv, Poltava, Chernivtsi, Volyn, Sumy and Lviv regions. Men among the winners are 42%, women - 58%.
This initiative is part of the large-scale measures of the Government of Ukraine to support youth entrepreneurship and stimulate the country's economic growth through the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
