This year, Ukrzaliznytsia has adopted ambitious plans to reconstruct and modernize its passenger transport. According to the company's press service, it plans to overhaul 42 passenger railcars and build 66 brand new ones, including 4 for passengers with disabilities. In addition, the company is going to improve the cars used to transport diplomatic delegations.

It is important to note that this is only a part of the company's strategy to upgrade its fleet. Ukrzaliznytsia also plans to modernize 15 suburban trains, which opens up new opportunities for the convenience and comfort of passengers using the railroad's services.

In addition, as part of its development strategy, the railroad plans to convert 6 more railcars by the end of 2024 to enable medical evacuation and save the lives of Ukrainian defenders. Recalling the existing achievements, it is worth noting that 64 such cars have already been modernized since the beginning of the war.

These steps will not only improve the level of service and safety for passengers, but also contribute to the overall development of Ukraine's transportation infrastructure. In particular, the new railcars and modernized trains will help increase the efficiency of passenger transportation and open up new opportunities for tourism and business development in the regions.
