In 2023, Ukrposhta won a bronze award at the prestigious EMS Performance Award ceremony. This award is given to postal operators that have demonstrated high results in the quality of international express delivery services (Express Mail Service, EMS). The Ukrainian postal company is recognized as one of the world's best in this segment, ranking fourth in the ranking of postal operators from 192 countries.
Igor Smelyansky, CEO of Ukrposhta, announced this achievement. Other winners of this year's award include the postal services of Qatar (jointly with Ukraine), the United Arab Emirates (silver) and Oman (gold).
Smelyansky emphasized that Ukrposhta began its journey in this ranking in 2020, having received EMS from another government agency in 182nd place among 187 participants. Today, despite the difficult political situation and existing challenges, the company has won bronze in the world and first place in Europe, ahead of only the Middle East countries of Oman and the UAE.
According to Smelyansky, this international ranking is compiled by Deloitte and is an objective assessment. Thanks to close cooperation with partners, including DHL Global Match (UK), Ukrposhta has significantly optimized and reduced the delivery time of EMS export shipments to Europe, the US, Canada, Latin America and Australia. This is one of the key criteria by which the quality of EMS delivery is assessed.
Today, Ukrposhta delivers parcels to 187 countries through 660,000 branches in any city. Smelyansky emphasized that the company is constantly working to improve its services to ensure high-quality and fast delivery to all customers.
"Although sometimes there are cases of lost parcels and slow delivery within Ukraine, we are working to solve these problems. Our goal is to make more victories for Ukrposhta in the future," said the CEO.
