In the first five months of 2024, JSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya", which is part of the "Naftogaz" group, successfully launched 36 new gas wells, of which 11 already reach indicators of more than 100,000 cubic meters of gas per day. This was reported by the press service of the national gas operator.

During this period, natural gas production increased by 10% compared to the same period last year, which indicates the productivity and strategic development of the company in the field of energy resources.

"This is an important result of our work. Already since the beginning of the year, we have achieved significant success in drilling, having launched 11 high-throughput wells. We plan to maintain this positive development and achieve even greater results by the end of the year," stressed Oleksiy Chernyshov, head of the Naftogaz Group.

Currently, "Naftogaz" is actively developing its natural gas storage capacities in underground storage facilities. The pace of fuel accumulation exceeds the indicators of the previous year by 0.33 billion cubic meters, which indicates an increased interest in the preservation and use of gas resources in Ukraine.

Naftogaz plans to continue expanding its drilling and modernization of gas wells in order to ensure the stable development of the country's energy sector and meet the needs of consumers in natural gas. In accordance with the company's strategy, each subsequent step is aimed at increasing the efficiency of production and maximizing the use of natural resources.

Thanks to the constant development and modernization of its technological processes, "Naftogaz" contributes to the stable energy supply of Ukraine and maintains its leadership status in the country's gas market.
