In November 2024, Ukrainians actively bought used passenger cars up to five years old, imported from abroad. According to Ukravtoprom, 4.5 thousand such cars were registered, which is 31% of the total number of used passenger cars registered for the first time. In total, 14.7 thousand such cars were registered in November.
Interestingly, electric cars became the leaders of this segment for the first time, covering 44% of all cars sold up to five years old. This indicates the rapid growth of Ukrainians' interest in environmentally friendly transport.
Among other types of cars, the distribution is as follows:
- gasoline cars — 35%;
- diesel — 11%;
- hybrid — 7%;
- cars with LPG — 3%.
The leaders among car models up to five years old were Tesla electric cars. The most popular model of the month was the Tesla Model Y with 298 units sold. The Tesla Model 3 took second place (252 units), and the Hyundai Kona came in third (185 units).
The list of popular models also includes the Kia Niro (171 units), Audi e-tron Sportback (143 units), Nissan Rogue (138 units), Mazda CX-5 (131 units), Volkswagen Tiguan (125 units), Nissan Leaf (108 units) and Audi Q5 (106 units).
