The Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories announced the update of the form of the consignment note (CTN), which is now mandatory for use when transporting goods across Ukraine. The new requirements are designed to improve the accounting and transparency of transportation, as well as compliance with current legislation.
The updated form provides for an expanded list of mandatory details. The place of preparation of the document, as well as more detailed information about the vehicle, including its length, height, width and total weight with cargo, has now been added to the basic data already used in the CTN. In addition, the points of loading and unloading are clearly indicated.
The new form provides for more detailed information about the parties involved in the transportation. Thus, in the fields "Consignor", "Motor carrier" and "Consignee" it is necessary to indicate not only the name of the company or the surname, first name and patronymic of the individual, but also their taxpayer code according to the Unified State Register of Taxpayers or tax number.
The changes also affected the format of the consignment note. It is available both in paper and electronic form. This allows business entities to choose a convenient format for maintaining documentation depending on their needs and technical capabilities.
The introduction of the updated TTN form is an important step in ensuring more effective control over cargo transportation in Ukraine. The new requirements will increase the accuracy of documentation and simplify the processes of interaction between participants in the transport process.
Business entities engaged in cargo transportation are recommended to familiarize themselves with the new rules and promptly switch to using the updated TTN form in order to avoid possible difficulties in the future.
