Ukrainian agricultural producers are actively using the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9", which allows them to receive financial support on favorable terms. Since the beginning of 2025, 811 agricultural farms have attracted a total of UAH 3.7 billion in preferential loans for the development of their enterprises.
This was reported by the Minister of Agrarian Policy Vitaly Koval, noting that 90% of recipients of such loans are registered in the State Agrarian Register (DAR). This indicates the effectiveness of the register, which simplifies farmers' access to financing and ensures transparency in the distribution of funds.
Among the regions that received the most funding, Kyiv region is in the lead - local farms attracted UAH 449.2 million. In Chernihiv region, the amount of preferential loans amounted to 323.4 million UAH, in Odessa region – 296.2 million UAH, and in Vinnytsia region – 275.9 million UAH. Also, significant amounts of financing were received by farmers in Kirovohrad region (271.3 million UAH), Sumy region (224.1 million UAH), Poltava region (223.6 million UAH) and Lviv region (209.5 million UAH).
In total, 1,411 agricultural enterprises have already taken advantage of the opportunity of bank lending in 2025, attracting more than 8 billion UAH. These funds allow farmers to invest in modernization of equipment, purchase of seeds and fertilizers, increase yields and expand production capacities.
The state continues to support the agricultural sector, because the development of agriculture is a key factor for the country's economic stability. Thanks to affordable financing, Ukrainian farmers can not only work more efficiently, but also create new jobs, contributing to the growth of regional economies.
