Kyiv region is actively preparing for the next heating season, and as of early July, 46% of facilities are fully prepared for winter. This was announced by Oleksandr Poprotskyi, Director of the Department of Housing, Utilities and Energy Efficiency of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

Comprehensive plans have already been prepared for 2,946 residential buildings, 235 preschools, 222 educational institutions and 214 healthcare facilities.

Due to the constant threat of destruction and damage to infrastructure facilities by the enemy, each district and territorial community has developed its own comprehensive plans to prepare for the heating season. These plans include the creation of reserves of necessary equipment and materials for emergency repair work. In addition, a stockpile of mobile equipment is being created for rapid on-site response and problem solving.

The Kyiv Regional State Administration is actively cooperating with local authorities, enterprises and housing institutions to ensure effective preparation for the heating season. The priority task is to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of heat supply, water supply and sewerage systems, as well as to maintain normal living conditions for the residents of the region.
