The eRestoration program for compensation for war-damaged housing has already processed almost a quarter of all applications. The total amount of compensation is over UAH 700 million. This was announced by Oleksandr Kubrakov, Vice Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
A significant number of applications have already been processed under the eRestoration program. However, the Vice Prime Minister urged local authorities to be more active in the work of the commissions dealing with this issue. He emphasized the importance of maintaining high dynamics of work and cooperation of the commissions working with Ukrainians who lost their homes due to Russian military aggression.
Mr. Kubrakov noted that training seminars and workshops have been held on working with registers, the specifics of calculating compensation for destroyed property, and the issues of receiving and processing applications from citizens.
Currently, the program has just under 2,000 applications, but their number is expected to grow further. Kubrakov emphasized that the government is ready to provide any technical and advisory assistance, as well as send specialists to communities that lack their own resources to work with applications.
"The eRestoration program has become an important step in compensating for the damage caused to Ukrainians by the war. Almost a quarter of the applications have already been processed, which demonstrates the program's success and its importance for the affected citizens.
Further intensification and development of the eRestoration program should be planned in the future to provide compensation for destroyed housing to all citizens who need help and support.
