The service of restoring Ukrainian driving licenses has become available in Poland, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported.

Previously, Ukrainian drivers in Poland could only exchange their valid driver's license. Now, in the cities of Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Krakow, it is possible to restore driver's licenses if they have been lost or stolen.

In order to restore a driver's license, citizens of Ukraine need to apply to the State Enterprise "Document" in one of the cities in Poland where this service is provided:

Warsaw: 179 Jerusalemskie Alleys (Blue City shopping center, 2nd floor);
Wroclaw: 22 Grunwaldzka Square, 50-363 (0th floor);
Krakow: Galeria Krakowska (2nd floor, entrance only from the parking lot, sector C);
Gdansk: Alley Grunwaldska, 415.
Citizens can sign up via the electronic queue on the Passport Service website or take part in a live queue. The following documents are required for registration

a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with the registered place of residence indicated in it. If the passport is in the format of an ID card and does not contain information on the registration of the place of residence, an extract of registration or a foreign passport should be attached;
a taxpayer certificate;
a document confirming the change of personal data (e.g., marriage certificate, etc.) in case of change of personal data;
medical certificate (not required for the period of martial law).
After collecting the necessary documentation, employees of the State Enterprise "Document" take a photo of the citizen and create an application for the restoration of the driver's license. This application is reviewed by a specialized service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. If approved, a new driver's license is issued abroad on a special form and handed over to the owner.
