From December 1, 2024, Ukrposhta announced the launch of a new service - delivery of Ukrainian passports abroad. This initiative will significantly simplify the process of obtaining documents for citizens of Ukraine who are outside the country. The service will be available for delivering passports to 134 countries around the world.

Ihor Smilyansky, General Director of Ukrposhta, announced the innovation, noting that the service will allow Ukrainians to save time and money. The cost of delivering a passport abroad will be only 6 US dollars, to which VAT in the amount of 10 hryvnias is added. This is much cheaper than the previous tariffs, which could reach more than 100 dollars.

In order to use the new service, you need to go through a few simple steps. First of all, citizens must order the production of a passport through a consulate or a relevant authority. Then, after receiving the order number, you can choose delivery via Ukrposhta and fill out the appropriate application on the company's official website.

Payment for delivery can be made using an electronic stamp with a QR code. After that, you need to send the application along with the payment receipt to the consular office where the order was placed. The final stage is to track the delivery process using the provided track number.

The launch of this service was made possible thanks to the cooperation of Ukrposhta with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Now Ukrainians abroad can conveniently and quickly receive their documents, which significantly improves access to state services for citizens who are outside the country.

This step demonstrates Ukraine's desire to modernize its state services and create convenient conditions for citizens who cannot be in Ukraine but need official documents. Ukrposhta continues to improve its services, providing new opportunities for a comfortable life for Ukrainians both inside the country and abroad.
