Ukrainian youth continues to actively develop their entrepreneurial potential thanks to the Vlasna Sprava program. According to the results of the eighth wave of the grant initiative for 2025, another 20 young Ukrainians under the age of 25 will receive significant financial support to start their business. Each of the winners will receive up to 3 million hryvnias, a total of 40 million hryvnias has already been distributed among 280 young entrepreneurs since the program was launched.
According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, the program has a significant impact on stimulating entrepreneurial activity among young people. For many grant recipients, this becomes the first step in the world of business, and the state actively supports them in overcoming obstacles on this path.
Projects implemented with the help of grants cover various areas of entrepreneurship. From opening coffee shops and beauty salons to interior design studios and garden centers, each business plan has its own unique features and potential for success in the market.
The largest number of winners of the eighth wave of the program was registered in the Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Poltava and Chernivtsi regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv. Among them, 60% are women and 40% are men, which indicates equal access to support opportunities for young entrepreneurs regardless of their gender.
According to the terms of the grant program, Ukrainians aged 18 to 25 have the opportunity to receive a micro-grant of up to 150 thousand hryvnias to start their own business. After receiving the grant, they are required to register as an individual entrepreneur and use the funds received to develop their enterprise, without the obligation to create new jobs.
Within three years from the moment of receiving the grant, entrepreneurs are required to return financial support in the form of paid taxes and fees, which stimulates them to sustainable development and participation in the formation of Ukraine's economic potential.
