In the draft state budget for next year, the Ukrainian government has planned minimal funding for the road fund. Despite this, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal assured that roads and bridges in Ukraine will be in good condition.

He expressed his position during the Regional Economic Forum held in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.

"It is very important for us to understand how to survive, especially in regions where military operations are ongoing, where there is a front line. Restoration of bridges and roads for the supply of ammunition and military equipment, meeting humanitarian needs - all this must be implemented. We have provided funding for this in the reserve fund," explained Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister also noted that the government is investing in the production of Ukrainian weapons and ammunition, as well as in the security and defense sector. This refers to investments in important sectors to ensure national security.

In addition, the budget provides funding for industrial parks, an investment nanny program, and grants for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.

These measures are aimed at ensuring Ukraine's sustainable development, strengthening its defense capabilities and improving its infrastructure, even with limited financial resources. The government is taking steps to preserve national security and the well-being of its citizens.
