In Germany and Spain, it is now possible to restore a lost or stolen Ukrainian driver's license, according to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

According to the information, this service is available at Passport Service centers in Germany and Spain. In Germany, the relevant subdivisions of the State Enterprise "Document" are located at the following addresses: Cologne, Wroclaw Square 50668 and Berlin, Am Treptower Park 14 (2nd floor). In Spain, this service is available in Valencia, Xàtiva metro station (parking lot in front of the main entrance to Estació del Nord station), as well as in Madrid at C. Adolfo Bioy Casares, 2, 28051 (parking lot of the commercial center LA GAVIA).

To renew a Ukrainian driver's license, you must have a passport of a citizen of Ukraine with a mandatory place of registration, a certificate (original or copy) of the assignment of a taxpayer registration number (in the absence of an ID card, a stamp in the passport or in the databases of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), as well as a document confirming the change of surname or name (in case of change of personal data).

Initially, the possibility of restoring a Ukrainian driver's license abroad was introduced in Turkey. There, Ukrainian citizens can obtain this service at the following address: Londra Asfaltı E-5 Karayolu Üzeri, Airport AVM, 34158 Bakırköy/İstanbul, Türkiye.

Recently it became known that this service is also available in Poland. To restore a Ukrainian driver's license, you can contact the following addresses: Warsaw: 179 Jerusalemskie Alleys (Blue City shopping center, 2nd floor), Wroclaw: 22 Grunwaldska Square, 50-363 (0th floor), Krakow: Krakowska Gallery (2nd floor, entrance only from the parking lot, sector C), Gdańsk: Alley Grunwaldska 415.

Appointments for this service can be made through the electronic queue on the Passport Service website or in person through a live queue. This initiative simplifies the process of renewing driving licenses for Ukrainian citizens living abroad.
