According to Reuters, OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise offers a higher level of security, privacy, and speed of access to the technology developed by the company. This new version is designed for use in large corporations and enterprises.
The previous release of ChatGPT, aimed at consumers, was introduced in November and was marked by the widespread use of generative artificial intelligence in various fields, from writing texts to developing program code. According to OpenAI, the product had gained over 100 million monthly active users by January of this year.
The launch of ChatGPT Enterprise demonstrates OpenAI's intention to increase the convenience and efficiency of using this technology in the workplace in large corporations.
It is worth noting that Microsoft already offers access to ChatGPT for companies through its Azure OpenAI platform. However, to use this service, companies must be customers of Microsoft's Azure cloud computing platform. While ChatGPT Enterprise subscribers do not need to sign a contract with Azure.
When asked about the competition between OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise and Microsoft's service, a representative of OpenAI said that "customers can choose which platform is best for their business".
